Nikki Nsabimana is an up-and-coming print/beauty/fashion/commercial model. She was born in Burundi on August 4th 1986 to parents Jean Nsabimana and Jacqueline Bukuruand, and lived in Burundi until age 14. On October 2001, Nikki , her sisters, one brother and her step-mom, came to the USA to join their dad who had previously left Africa hoping for a brighter future and better opportunities for himself and his family. She discovered modeling in late 2006 after people kept telling her that she should be a model. She attended a local casting a call and made the cut. She had the confidence to take a chance with the modeling industry to see what was in it for her and she's been in it to win it ever since!

Nikki is a proud African beauty and being sexy comes natural to her. Modeling is what she loves to do and when she strikes a pose, she gives you all she's got. You will never see her complain about the little things in life because she knows that you have to make good out of bad situations. Coming from her homeland of Africa which she loves very much, she never forgets the sacrifices her parents made to get her to the United States, and she does not take anything for granted. She will never try to fit in because she was born to stand out. She requests that before you hate her glory, try to understand her story because God knows what you need and when you need it. She believes she is a star already! It doesn't take million dollars in the bank for you to believe that you're star, it's your personality and how you carry yourself around others and that's what makes Nikki the star that she is today!

What made you want to get into modeling?

-Actually it was other people that discovered the talent in me, I kept hearing "girl you should be a model", but I was like nah... I'm such a tomboy... But then one day I woke up and I was like why not? Ever since then, everywhere I go they call me Top Model... It's a great feeling too!

I'll bet it is! Who would you consider your role models in the modeling/entertainment industry?

-Wow... My Daddy...I love that man, he gave me the opportunity for a better life and I don't think I will ever be able to repay him, he sacrificed a lot for me and my family, oohh I love that man a lot! He is such a great man with a good heart! I love you Daddy!

Better get him a good Father's Day gift! So,what do you do for fun?

-Ok so... I can only hangout on the weekends due to my crazy schedule so sometimes I might hang with my friends, go out, or we just have house parties at each other's apartments, or me and my boyfriend just call it a night and chill at the house and watch movies! Pretty exciting stuff... I'm never bored! Lol

I see! So if you didn't have a boyfriend, what famous guy would you love to date, and why?

-Lol it's funny because I found this a hard question lol... I actually like 2 guys in the industry LOL...my number one choice will have to be Kobe Bryant. I've been in love with him since 2001...oh mann only if he wasn't married...he would have a stalker

-LOL and then my second choice would be Lil' Wayne...... It's something about him to me. .I don't know if it's that Lollipop song but it's something about him that I would like to get to know...LOL... Ooh Gosshhh I hope my boyfriend doesn't read this... But he is a sweetheart he knows he got me and I got him so we good right? LOL

Your boyfriend's a lucky man! Make sure he never sees this or you are in BIG trouble! Okay Nikki here's a kinda personal question, what was the last movie that made you cry?

-Wow..."Tell The Truth", it was amazing how she sacrificed her life, left her son and ungrateful husband for the country and the people that didn't care about her, to go to jail instead of revealing the sources that gave her the info that she wrote in a newspaper. I cried... It was sad! You should check it out! It's story about some CSI dirt!

Define "sexy"

-Sexy is the way you carry yourself, basically your attitude. You can have the best body features but with an ugly attitude, you can just lose that sexiness to me!

I agree 100%! So, then what is the sexiest part of your body?

-My Lips Lol. I get a lot of compliments on my lips,and without the gloss on them, I don't feel complete. It's real strange! Oh yea and my boyfriend says it all the time that they are the best lips ever...LOL

Okay, I won't comment on that...once again, he's a lucky man! Would you say that it's hard to be an African model here in the US?

-Well I wouldn't say that it's because of being an African but I think it's the skin color period... We definitely need more African models in the industry. I think there's more in Europe but not in America, so we need more here in the USA. I'm hoping that it will get better, because we're beautiful...right? LOL

Yes we are beautiful! Why do you think more African models make it better in Europe?

-I'm not sure why but I wish I knew because Europe like us a lot more. Maybe I should move there huh?

Very diverse musical tastes, I like that! These tell me that you are sophisticated, determined, spiritual, but you've got a lil hood in you! So who are your favorite designers?

-I'm not really so much into designers, but if I do get me a special gift it's going to be under the following designers. I'll rock anything really, the price and designer don't matter because even if I would shop at Walmart I'll still look cute, but my faves are the following:

-Louis Vuitton -Coco Chanel -Gucci

Which do you prefer, chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla?

-I love strawberries! They make everything sexy and romantic...LOL

What is the most you've ever spent on any article of clothing, and what was it?

-$399.00 for a long black winter jacket. It was from Laundry by Shelli Segal

If you were president of Burundi, what are the first three things you would do?

-Wow that is a deep question because I'm really not into politics, but I always thought that if I could fight for my country I would. I would be a great President for my country even though it would be tough for me due to the past experiences in my country. I would definitely fight for peace for my country, stop the war and the hunger, make it a one-people country, improve the economy, and best of all get pure water and make sure all the children have the same opportunities to go to school.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

-I dream big, and my dreams get bigger and bigger everyday, but I see myself as a successful model in five years representing Africa, and I'm planning on building a school in my country. I'm getting all the necessary things arranged right now and trying to put the funds together. I think that all these children need to stay in school and get out of the streets, so in 5 years I see myself doing big things! And believe me, I'm focused on making it happen so keep me in your prayers!

If there was going to be a movie about your life, what would be the title?

-Ooohhh wow........... That is a good question but I used to think about that so here it is......... "The Girl You Thought You Knew", because there's so much people don't know about me but they rush to judge me. I'm very unique in an intelligent way, so I would definitely like to reveal the real me to the world!
